The Marloru Promise

www.marloru.com/promise

We build these bags for beach days, boat days, and everywhere else. If we've ever let you down — that matters to us, and we want to make it right.

Try it for 30 Days. You'll Love it Forever.

We're confident enough in our bags to put that in writing. If for any reason your bag isn't right for you within 30 days of delivery — wrong size, wrong color, just not your vibe — send it back. No questions asked. (but we'd love to hear what you thought!)

We'll send you a return shipping label. A flat $7 is deducted from your refund to cover shipping. That's it. No hoops, no interrogation.

Purchased directly from marloru.com? Your choice: a full refund to your original payment method, store credit or a replacement — whatever works best for you.

Purchased through an authorized retailer? We'll send you a replacement. If it's easier to just swap it out with us (we'd actually prefer it!) just contact us and we'll make it happen.

Lifetime Quality Guarantee

We stand behind our bags for life — because that's what "built to last" is actually supposed to mean.

If your bag ever fails due to a defect in materials or craftsmanship, we'll repair it, replace it with a same or better condition bag, or find another way to make it right. We mean that.

What we cover:

  • Manufacturing defects of any kind
  • Functional failures — seams, zippers, hardware and straps
  • Significant print fading or degradation beyond what you'd reasonably expect from a quality bag

That last one deserves a note. Our earliest bags had print retention issues, largely due to the corrosive nature of spray sunscreen on non-permeable printing. We've since completely updated our printing process, and we think it's the best in the industry. But if you've got a Marloru bag where the print has degraded in a way that looks embarrassing rather than loved, please reach out. We'd rather you be out there repping us well and looking good than carrying a bag that no longer does us (or you!) justice. We'll make the call case by case, and we'll always give you an honest answer.

What we don't cover:

  • Cosmetic wear — scuffs, scratches, and the natural patina of a well-traveled bag
  • Gradual fading from years of reasonable sun and salt exposure
  • Damage from misuse, accidents, or anything you'd never honestly blame a manufacturer for
  • Lost or stolen bags (we're flattered in the thief's taste, but hunting them down is very time consuming!)

Same or better condition. When we replace a bag, we may send an open return, gently used, or refurbished item that's been inspected and fully certified by us. Every replacement carries the same Lifetime Quality Guarantee as your original. We believe in keeping good things in use — and out of the ocean and landfills!

A Note on How We Handle This

Our bags are built for real use. They're going to get sandy, salty, sun-bleached, and loved hard. That's the job. A little wear is just proof you've been somewhere worth going.

But if something lets you down in a way that shouldn't have — if we didn't hold up our end — we want to hear from you. We're not going to nickel-and-dime you with technicalities or make you feel like a suspect for reaching out. We're a family brand, and we treat people like family. Sometimes that means going beyond what any policy technically requires, because it's simply the right thing to do.

We ask one thing in return: be straight with us. We trust our customers completely, and we work hard every day to earn that trust. We've seen and heard it all, and we know the difference between misuse and a manufacturing defect. We'd rather just hear what happened, (we may still cover it) and maybe we can use that info to continue improving our design. So far, our community has been absolutely incredible, and we fully expect that to continue.

Reach out and let us show why working with a family brand is still a great thing!

Liability

Marloru bags are designed to be your companion for beach days, boat days, travel days, and every day. We've done everything we can to build something safe, durable, and genuinely useful.

That said — we are not responsible for damage to personal belongings carried inside your bag, or for any injury resulting from use or misuse of our products. Please don't use your Sunday Bag as a flotation device. Please don't swim alone. And please wear sunscreen — just try and not spray it direct on the bag (the spray stuff is rarely the good stuff, and packed with corrosives!)
